Best options for Forex (swiss francs)

I'm relocation to Zurich and my employer wants to pay me my relocation amounts only with my first pay check at the end of the first month. I'm expected to manage my own expenses until then - this is costing be about 7k-8k CHF.

I'm looking at the Thomas Cook borderless card. Any of you have any experience with it? or would recommend any other services?

I am pretty sure you can also survive on an international credit card and some cash.
If not ,most banks also offer Forex cards. Check out HDFC's offerings.

Check out www.prithvifx.com. They give some of the best foreign exchange rates, especially for currency. They also provide prepaid cards.
