Airtel ,Voda or R GSM or any other provider?? mainly need good network in Bangalore,Pune and Gurgaon-Delhi region

Also wana know which among this have good stable GPRS connections??

I ve Docomo now and their 3G network is too unstable and a big pain to use.

i need to wait a loooong time before my ebuddy can login so thought y not try for a better network with better GPRS connection.
MODS may move this to the correct sub forum if this is not the correct sub forum.

Thanks in advance

Ahh...again a war like thread :P

Everyone would have their own opinion...!! Anyway you can judge the suitable one by reading everyone's opinion..

Here goes mine...

For me it's Vodafone. I know it's costly and all that...but yes I'm willing to pay more than the others for the best service and network. And Vodafone and Airtel is the king in terms of Network reliability. I use VMC 98/- Plan, and the connection is really stable and no issues at all, speed is good(same goes for Airtel too). No issues at all with their service and network. Had been to Shimla, Dehradun, Mussorie, Nainital, Puri, Siliguri, Digha, Garhwal....vodafone rocked everywhere, no network issues at all :)

So if you are willing to bear the high cost, I'd suggest Vodafone.

PS : My second vote goes for Airtel :)

Cost is not a bar.me too thinking of aiterl or voda. what about the comparison of GPRS stability and speed of docomo against airtel/voda in bangalore??

I think reliance also has very good GPRS speeds. Personally using reliance GPRS and i do get speeds ranging from 20-30kBps most of the times.

Can't comment about Bangalore, but here in Kolkata, I tried Docomo, the result is max. times it doesn't even connects, and the speed is extremely slow to that of Vodafone and Airtel

My vote goes to Airtel. Have been on their network for the past 5-6 yrs.
Had parallel connection from R GSM, BSNL, MTNL etc.
Airtel has never let me down in terms of network coverage, service, etc.....

Reliance is the best for me.
Moved in the state mah with it although they have 3g only in mumbai. But the speed in the state have been good.
Have had good feedback from my friends circle stating that when in roaming there are no additional charges imposed on their gprs usage.

i have used both airtel and voda gprs extensively.

while voda gprs feels indeed like gprs(aka 2000 year dialup), airtel's does feel very very fast, like my old egde data card, seriously...
EDIT:-0 Reliance on Reliance..... I have this shitty NetConnect+...

Have travelled all over India with it, but the max speed I ever got was 9.9kbps....

waste of money(not mine, the company's money!!)

What about Docomo???? I was using Aircel for sometime in Bangalore and it was good, sad they removed their unlimited plan, So am switching to Tata Docomo as their limit is 6GB for 95/- and 8GB for 149/- in roaming also its free under their own Roaming Network :P where as Aircel is giving 9GB for 250 but its 3 months valid.... :) But not free in Roaming sad part :( and another is BSNL i dono anything abt this Network, I got a 3G SIM twice and they failed to activate and also i have wasted twice 120 and 222 :( So i wasted 684 for two SIM dam I hate those BSNL Customer Care, those fools dont know anything and also i need to wait more than 30 min for someone to pick the call :( The most shitty Network all around - BSNL :(

The cdma from reliance is bad.not so with gsm.
Wow..great.

But reliance both GSM and CDMA su**s here in Kolkata. Very bad reputation, they have the lowest plans for everything, but you need to send 10sms in which 1 will get delivered. And please don't ask about call and gprs :P

Have been using Reliance GSM here in Mumbai from the past ~2 years. Have had no such serious issues with it except for some (minor) network problems. Tariffs are good and GPRS/3G plan 99rs. is good.

For those suggesting DOcomo. Here in Chandigarh, Docomo is terrible. The moment you step into anywhere where you can't see the whole sky the signal drops. Everyone who got it for the costs changed the connection within a week even before MNP. I am still hanging on because I am lazy.

Really bro, then what connection to take :( In bangalore Aircel has network prbs, BSNL very bad, Airtel and Vodafone too costly

So this thread has become a sort of path finder for those people who are gonna change their networks soon unh??

@ bacillus : well if u conider the service i dont think airtel and voda are that costly.
