I'm looking to buy point and shoot cameras that work and are in decent condition... I don't know where to look so any advice on that?

Another option, try calling Jayesh Mehta shop - Foto circle - https://g.co/kgs/BLRF4CP. This is a pretty old shop and has been a reputable one, though prices when I had last checked several years back felt a bit on the higher side. And not entirely sure whether they sell used cameras these days, but can give it a try.
