Best Rotatory Shaver | Electric Shaver | Philips One Blade for Daily Clean Shave

On reviews some say they get once in 6 months .. some say 3 months once..
It might seem to depend on usage ?

Oh even the rotatory ones are advised head changed every 2 years with SH30 (model name). Found hte cost to be around 900 Rs.

My friend got one blade as a gift and the charger isnt even Micro-USB but a dc plug, tough to find replacement if lost.

I recommend the rotatory shaver if you want a close-to-skin shave.
Also regardless of what shaver you buy, you will have to replace the blades periodically - they are a consumable part of the appliance, no matter what you get they will wear out over time.

I recently bought one, after using just a trimmer for a long time, and the rotatory shaver does indeed not work in one go for longer(more than 5-6 mm) beards. I may be using it wrongly. In the few weeks of using one, I trim the excess beard first, then use the rotatory shaver, that works for me. YMMV

OneBlade is indeed very good for getting a clean shave. I find the whole act of shaving beard extremely boring. I wanted something to make my routine more efficient. I use straight edge razor for the first pass and then do a quick pass with OneBlade. Because my OneBlade doesn't have to do much work, its cartridge lasts a very long time.

India is world's dumping ground for obsolete tech. Philips doesn't sell their good models in India, esp the Li-ion ones. Even if they are available, they are stupidly costly.

I've used foil and rotary shavers in the past and they gave me pretty good results. As I wasn't aware of the nuances associated with getting a smooth shave, I used to spend way too much time on shaving. I don't know if there are options available to see a demo of costly shavers in action. I want to buy the ones in the range of 20~40,000. My idea is that a premium one will save me more time. And since time is money...

Sorry guys for not updating.

Got the shaver. Initially i was little scared.. But after sometime.. it worked pretty well. TBH , the time it gets me to clean shave is very less. There are few issues though.. one is you can not precisely cut around side burns or near mustache., the given trimmer on the side is pretty weak. So you have to rely on shaving blade or old trimmer to get those areas properly cut. Second is you have to keep the swirling motion going on , you cant do vertical motion which sometimes pulls the hair.

Those being said , it performs exceptionally AWESOME. It saves a lot of time. For those who are saying it leaves few spots , all i would say is just give one more pass over it , you are good to go. Also i amazed by how close shave it gives.

Comparing to old way of clean shave , where first i have to use the trimmer to bring down the hair size and then use blade to have clean shave and also have second pass to get full clean shave , and then work on sideburns and mustache. But now its super fast.. It reduces at least 60% of the time.
