Best Routers

I have a budget of around 3.5K and I need to buy a new router in that budget as my old one stops working a lot of the time.

Any suggestions?

netgear is known for the worst wi-fi routers

^not generalizing,but D-link experience was horrible for me-with a wired router "GLB-802C" which is RIP in a cupboard somewhere in the house.

netgear will not come any near.
