will be getting a canon camera next week. Please suggest the best storage option in case I buy an additional memory card.

The camera seems to support all of these SD, SDHC, SDXC, MMC, MMCplus, HC MMCplus. I was considering long life/better quality and value for money chip.

The main difference between the said cards, is memory. So if you are not doing a lot of video recording a 16Gb Class 10 SDHC card should suffice..
