hi friends
i want to purchase new touch mobile . my budget is 20k . can you suggest some good phones in that region.

as of now my options are

samsung jet

any htc mobiles will come in this region. pls give some suggestion. i am looking for good touch sense and decent camera

Seems Samsung CorbyPro is a good phone and its price is around 11.5K-12K. It has lot of networking options (3G, Bluetooth, 802.11 Wireless etc). Also it has QWERTY slider keyboard, alongwith Touch interface. It can play Videos/Movies also.

Check that model.

if you like Music More than Photography then go for Nokia 5800XM for 13k..

apart from crappy Camera it's a Complete VFM Package..

Naa .. Jet is indeed a very good option for you .. its a very well packaged gadget with heavily loaded specs ..!!!! HTC Tattoo comes close .. but i guess JET will suit you ..

jet is good for casual use. but lack of smartphone OS is a big -ve. Check B7610 for 21k, 5800XM for 13.5k, N72 for 19.5k, SE Yari for 14.5k

+1 for Jet

I have one and completely satisfied with it! :)

[I didn't have too much need for a smart phone OS thing, but it does have all the features required, and, its sleek and fast].

Go for nokia 5800.its camera is not good that i agree but rest other features are excellent.it supports 3G as well and works quite fast.and music quality is simply awesome and well within your budget whereas samsung and htc all these phones are stylish looks are brilliant but we are not going to display our phones.we r going to use it everyday.so for rough use purpose dont buy all such phones.because after its warranty gets over and if any hardware or software parts gets inactive they charge a lump some amount whereas nokia is built for rough use and charges are nominal for servicing.i dont hate samsung or lg or htc but i love my nokia the most.

I have used Samsung for last 5 years and my phones have fallen on hard floor, each time from 5-6 feet height, atleast 50 times, all of them work perfectly even after that abuse. So ...;)
[ I am not a Samsung dealer/spokesperson, just from my experience ]

I agree that Nokia, since they have a good market share, their parts are easily available and easily replaceable, but their services are not cheap. But please google for Nokia mobile issues and you will see the problem.

Better buy phones that are cheaper cost-wise, so that in the event they get damaged/lost or you get bored, you can easily replace with new models, without feeling the pain of paying too much and then getting/feeling screwed. Samsung phones are cheaper in price than Nokia for the same feature set.

I am going for Samsung CorbyPro very soon. :ohyeah:
