Best touch phone around 20K

I'm very confused to pick a good touch phone. Lots of new models available. :S
I already have an itouch, and i bought lots of paids apps on it. And now im going to sell it and buy a touch phone.
Is it better to buy an unlocked iphone 3g from grey market (so i could use all my paid apps?? How much will it cost?

or should i go for different brand? Please advice!!!:huh:

My general requirements are:
1)Capacitive touch screen would be preffered.
2)Good interface, phone should not lag while browsing through menus and apps.
3)Good music player and video player.
4)wi-fi, good web browser, email and organiser.
4)I'm not worried about the camera. Just a basic one will do.

Preffered brands - HTC, Samsung, Sony Erricson
Budget - around 20K

Just a noob question. If we upgrade the os in an unlocked iphone...does it get locked again. And can you point me to the seller link please.

Is W995 a touchscreen ?? I havnt heard so ..

The Sammy Jet doesn't have an OS. That's the biggest deal breaker IMO.

Yup if you upgrade your iPhone with new firmware from Apple's site then you have to unlock it again.

Says 'Like new' but it's new. Call and confirm from the seller :)
 
called him up and he said when he imports em from his importer, they have a condition that it must not be more than 25 days used... so it is used for sure....

the new one at his ebay shop costs Rs. 28500/-

There's nothing like that for sure! He just can't tell you openly that it's a grey market phone! Dude I myself bought it and so I can confirm on this! All you need to confirm from him is the condition is brand new and scrathless. That's it. He won't for sure accept that it's grey market so easily. He told me so because I asked him how much for 10 pieces :ohyeah: and then he said about 19k or so :P. It's then I asked him how come so less and he told me that it's grey market phones and hence the price! Got it!

The new one at his shop that you are saying comes with bill. These don't! :P
 
Thankyou everyone for your replies....after lot of confusion and going through lots of reviews....finally decided to get iphone 3g :). Already addicted to the itouch interface and I'm using iMac, so i will have syncing issues if i use other phones. Will put up my itouch 2g 16gb for sale soon :D

Now the hunt is for a safe purchase of grey market iphone 3g :ohyeah:

Is there anyone from chennai here? Just want to know if there is any shop in ritchie street selling this grey market iphones? If so what is the cost?

Sure buddy. Just make sure to purchase by paisapay for safey. The seller ships the phone in about a week's time if paid by paisapay and immediately if paid by cheque/dd. But I would still advise you to use paisapay. Plus if you have got a coupon of even 5% then you can get additional discount on 22.5k as well! :)
