The video editor you require depends on your needs frankly. If you are majorly into editing, you might want to look at one of the heavy duty applications - Premiere, Vegas, FC Pro (on the mac), Avid solutions etc etc.

For low end work, or if something heavy duty isn't required, you could go with Corel VideoStudio X3 or the Pinnacle studio solutions.

Yes, its a pretty good piece of software. The interface is pretty easy to follow.
