I have a Asus DSL router with Airtel connection. The router and desktop are placed in my bedroom. I dont get good coverage in the balcony which is 2 rooms away( a dining hall and another bedroom in the way). A ddistance of around 50 feet. What are my options to increase coverage?
1. Place the wifi router in the dining hall?So all I need is the router to be placed here in the socket. But my airtel cable has to be rewired in a different way from outside the apartment. Cant close the door if I try to move it through inside+ exposed wires hanging overhead and look very bad
2. Use a repeater. This will cost me 2k more I think but I dont know how good they would be.
Once routers are configured, I can place them anywhere in the room as long as the DSL cable from ISP provider is connected to it right?
