The MSI Cyclone 768MB GTX460 costs ~11.5k. Go for it if ur distri has it.
Else the HD5770 hawk is a decent buy.

Although a bit pricey, it should be worth the buy. You do get the complete 3 year warranty as well instead of the remaining warranty from the older defective card. Unless, the distri sticks some sticker which says otherwise!

Are you willing to spend a bit more or stick to the 9k credit note?

Oops I meant 460 :ashamed:. I know it's worth buying GTX460 768MB if not 1GB variant but for that I need to spend around 2.5k. I check if he can arrange one for me(768 one).
 
^What we meant was the difference you end up paying for the GTX 460 would be well worth the premium. ~2.5k as Angel has pointed it out.
 
I am NOT an MSI customer service rep! its just that i keep all the possible details of the hardware vendors if I happen to own a product made by them. I could dig up a lot about MSI because of the laptop I own as well as the 5850 twin frozr 2. I would be glad to help people out but don't ask me to RMA ur faulty merchandise - I don't work for MSI !!!!
 
MSI's Taiwan customer service is absolutely crap. When I got aggressive with them they changed my service request to Off topic on their online platform and closed the topic. Stupid Chinese people.
 
I deposited a Ati card at MSI HQ in Delhi as Digilink refused to accept the card as the serial no sticker was missing .They gave me the Deposit Challan with "no serial no " mentioned on it.I Was promised a replacement 2 days back but kept on delaying it since then for one reason or another.The card was purchased from SMC (Signed and Dated) and i have the original invoice.What should i do!
 
I contacted them and Mr Mahesh who handles RMA there told that they were also facing simlilar dificulties with Digilink and I should deposit them with MSI directly.At MSI when i pressurise them they start raising the " missing serial no "issue
 
Now what ?
XFX had already bad reputation then MSI now.
So,which brand are left to go.....

I bought 5770 in last year from Akshay enterprise and the card is faulty by some reason but when I told him about my problem,they suddenly checked my card and replaced it instantly.
