Hello all,
I have made a purchase from a seller and totally disappointed by the product he delivered to me. The product he promised is not the one he sent across..

Eventhough the price of the product is small (125 bucks), its the trust thats what is important in buying and selling. Thats what I believe. So please beware of him, and future dealings also.

But it turned out to be a local indian brand without any sort of connector .(See the attachment).
I request you to black list this seller (longlife).He hasnt replied to my message even...

Moderators, pls blacklist this seller.

dude did u talk to the seller before making this accusation?.did u try to resolve this issue?.where are the thread links?.
 
We have PM'ed him and will give him a chance to explain himself. If he doesn't, we will accordingly take action.

I am with you, starting a "beware" thread without any conversation/negotiation with the seller is meaningless.

I made the deal with the seller thru PMs. And he had sent me the PM (thats what quoted) describing the product. And after the purchase is made I have sent him another message complaining about it. But no reply so far. Let me know what else should I do now?
 
Agree with anandkrishnantc,

very reputed members who providing some sort of service are some time took chance to provide average service for premium charges. They have good reputation & so buyers voice not reach to them & at that time buyer has no option but to post publicly and after opening such threads, service providers rush to you via PM/Mail/call etc. etc & do there best to solve issue.

Above is my general observation with few forums.

isn't that cheating the buyer? its like telling him he has delivered hyundai santro and it turns out to be a maruti 800.

I got this reply from the seller today. He says "Yateloon sells fans with HiCool sticker"... dont have any comment. Any body can explain this?:S

You yourself are not sure nor have proof about what it is and you sell it to someone saying its a yate loon. Unless you tell us why you say it is yate loon with solid proof of the fact ("Its yate loon because I said so" is not enough), I would be inclined to think that this is a deliberate fraud attempt.

This is daylight robbery. If longlife is so coksure about it beinga yate loon and not a el-cheapo hicool why not post out in the open and keep the discussion to PMs?
 
I previously bought some SATA 90 degree cables from him. he told me that those are new. but when i received it and checked, those looked like old one's and teared it out from some running PC..

i didnt say anything, because it was a small sum of amount, again sending back and replacing it is difficult.

so i decided i would never again trade with him thatz all.

You should have given him a negative feedback and brought it to the notice of the community alerting them of such practices by the member.

Yes that was my mistake. i should hav made an alert.

but one thing i trusted coz he told he is a staff in PNB.

i dont think so. SK Dutta, i believe, he is faking in that name, either it would be his fathers name or his frnds would be..
 
To tell you the truth Anand, and its my opinion only, the fault is partly yours also. Did you ask the seller for pictures of the product ? There is a rule in the market section, and it's there for a reason. And the reason is to avoid similar situations like these. I am sorry to be blunt, but it's for your own good only. This is my recommendation to everyone on the forums. Do not deal via PM's alone. If you decide to do it, do it at your own risk, but at least have the common sense to make sure the deal is genuine. make sure you ask for a picture before doing any money transfer. If the seller gives you excuses like "can't find my camera, will send pictures later" etc. wait. Don't be hasty.

I am pretty sure now nothing can be done about your deal. All the mods can do is i guess ban the guy. Nothing more. And who here can confirm what he is saying is false ? I mean for all we know, what he said is perfectly true. As quoted in courts, there is reasonable doubt. So you can;t do anything. Just be careful in the future.

Just my 2 paisa :P
