- This is a really good headphone, sounds big and spacious with very good tonality and timbre.
- One of the few headphones I've listened to which don't require EQing to sound right.
- If you have listened to any DT series headphone You know what it will sound like just bassier.
- Sounds(tonality and presentation) quite like the DT880 just not as clear.
- Bass is a highlight on this, unlike most BASS oriented headphones which focus more on upper/mid bass and sound bloated this focusses more on Sub-Bass so it does not sound thick.
- Scales well too. Listened to it while being powered with a Schiit Asgard 2 and sound improved tremendously.
- This is not a forward sounding aggressive headphone which makes people think that the mids are recessed but that is simply not the case, the mids are just there for you to listen and not in your face, it pulls the perspective back a bit because it sounds quite spacious for a closed back.
