After a long wait of almost a month . What here i have with me is a Big Surprise .

Have been ordered on behalf of a friend . Custom duties killed me !!

14k as custom duties !! Ufff :mad:

Total Damages - Have been around 67k (approx ) including customs and shipping .

Fedex did the shipping pretty fast and delivered promptly without any hassles .

They are on my head right now , but what i can say is that they just killed me !!

Sound - Synergy , Tonal Balance and sound stage is something i haven't heard in my entire life till yet . Haven't heard LCD2's till yet , but somehow i am sure they are a step better than LCD2's . or I can say that both of them have a different signature .

The Fedex custom charges are insane, I paid 1k for a ALO cable :S

Ah! This is what I was expecting in a show-off - something BIG! I was slightly disappointed to have a mid-range headphone (for anubhav) in FA-002W. Congrats!

How much did you pay in total - cost of headphone + shipping + customs included?

And what is that matching amp? Another show off thread? ;)
 
FA-002W , might go for sale at a sensible price :)

Santosh Sir - 67k ( in total ) is the total expenditure . in which 14k is the custom duties only .

Well , just a HD800 and LCD-2 more now ... I'm looking to grab them soon .
 
^ Once you set the source chain right, go for it! May be somebody will get lucky with HD800 / LCD2 / T1, whichever one you let go off after some serious evaluation.

Damn the customs duty :mad:. That's the issue with importing any headphone.

I'm happy in a way that you are done with swapping mid and budget range IEMs looking for that elusive SQ. But now, who'll buy all the IEMs I will some day put on sale? :(

True said , As of now they will be re-directed to my friend .

I will be keeping the Fischer FA-002's as of now .

These ( T1's ) or HE-5's might come back to me in a month's time .

Later upgrades under planning are HD800 and LCD-2 !
