So the remastered version is out already. Has anyone played it yet? :P

Had played the original title sometime back and it was pretty good back then. I don't recall the storyline much and would definitely be giving this title a shot once more.

BG&E 2 is in development as we speak.

Yep. The remastered version features improved textures, character models and a different set of OSTs. :)

I doubt if the original PC version can still be played on the present widescreen displays. I recall I couldn't play POP: The 2 Thrones on a Dell SP2208WFP. It would be rendered on a 4:3 aspect ratio.

Cannot agree more! It has been a while since Ubi has been developing BG&E 2. Other than the leaked video and the teaser trailer from Ubidays, there has been no further info on the sequel.

I think the first didn't really earn a lot for them - so they're in no hurry?

Commercially it was a failure, but the game was quite a hit among gamers. The storyline was quite intriguing.
 
I tried playing the first in 2007 with my super lame 7100 GS, FPS was really low - still played for like 2-3 hours. Didn't try after that.
