Hello Guys,
I have recently purchased Dell U2311H monitor, which is a 23 inch monitor with a max resolution of 1920x1020 but since I am using a slightly outdated GPU (HD4850), I have to run certain games at lower resolution to get optimum FPS. Now, if I play full screen with a lower resolution, the sharpness would obviously decrease, which I do not like so therefore, I play my games in windowed mode if I am playing them at a lower resolution.
For games like Team Fortress 2, if you use windowed mode and reduce the resolution in Video Settings, window size automatically readjusts to the resolution selected. For example, if I use 1440x900 resolution than window size will automatically become 1440x900 pixels.
But, the problem I am facing is: In BF3 when I use windowed mode, the window always remains the same size whatever I change the resolution to, and than I have to manually stretch the window to the intended size. This gets really painful because I have to judge how big a 1440x900 pixel-ed window is. So my question is, how do I save a particular window size in BF3 without having to adjust it every time manually. Yes, I have checked it on google but other than a 3rd party application I couldn't find anything. Any help will be appreciated.
-Thanks
