My PC has a very big problem sometimes it starts to blackout & then freezes.

I have changed my PSU & RAM but it still has the problem.

The monitor cable is also not loose.

Is it a motherboard problem?

I have 400 Watts PSU.

blackout i.e. nothing on the display, confirm. & if it blackout's first how do you know it freezes :(

it's either got something to do with your monitor or your graphics card.

p.s - you could have posted in troubleshooting section :(

It changes between black & colour several times and then freezes.

It narrows down to your graphics card for me(freezes), does your board have onboard video, if yes, see if problem reoccurs or try another graphics card if you have one.

what about temp's, can you post them.

if you have o/c your system & bring it to default & try.

The problem does not occur on onboard video.

How do I find out motherboard & graphics card temp's?

Its a graphics card problem. Surely.

You can find our Gfx Card. temp by using Riva Tuner.

Try another AGP Card and see if it happens.

^^If it doesnt happen on the onboard video, then the graphics card is on its death bed.

How do I manage till Feb because I'am getting a FX5700 for free in Feb.
