Big PS3 Problem :(

Trust me guys i did nothing... Its getting power and everything seems to be working fine within the PS3, but i am not getting any display. I had changed the display settings to 1080i at a friends place who has a 42" projection tv and since then i am not getting any display on my standard TV. I have a composite cable that came with the PS3 and a component cable that i bought from a shop. I tried both but none seem to work. I need help badly guys, please guide me what to do. :(
 
Did it work on your friends projector? If it did, then the resolution set in the PS3 currently is not compatible with your standard tv.

Do this, power on your PS3 by pressing the POWER touch button for 5 seconds, you should hear a beep, that beep means PS3 has been set to factory settings (480i) or it has detected your TV and set the resolution accordingly, I'm not entirely sure.

See if it works.

And no point in using the the component cables with your standard TV. Standard TV's can't take 720P resolution (well most of them) so its moot. Use only the composite cables with standard definition (480).

Dude. I love you. I really do. It workeddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddddd. I am feeling happy and _ _ _ hahahahah ;) Thanks a ton man. u saved my night otherwise it would have been a nightmare. LOL. I was actually sweating with tension in a AC room.
