Today I'm planning to get BigTV. I am getting rid of this Local cable operator :@...

Anyone BigTV user here? How is service compare to Tata Sky, Dish TV???

Please help..

Also,

Can the Channel list be customized on BigTV? I really need to cut those DD and other language channels..

there is no clarity at the moment, just speculation/rumours. just be cautious that this dealer doesnt run off with your money :) i would personally wait for bigtv launch (like ads on tv/papers) then wait some more for early user reviews... i currently have tata sky, its not excellent but good enough for me...
 
Tata sky at present offers 60 movies on demand and lot of other channels- good offer @ 200/- p.m... check with them ...

Dish TV make them to cut rates ....
 
IMO, this is not the right now to Buy as lots of new players comming in,oldies reducing prices & making new offers.

better just wait & watch as the industry dynamics change:D
 
well i have been using big tv from 3months the quality is better but right now its still not commercialy launched ,but there are software problems like the menu and channels changing are sluggish,channels like pogo are available only in hindi.the video comes in 4:3 ratio despite having a component out and 16:9 option.the EPG of certains channels arent displayed.certains time the EPG and the current programme doesnt match due to the wrong time displayed by the STB which the user cannot change.certains times none of the buttons works since the STB freezes ,hangs.
