OT: but know what , a Bihar issued DL works as a legal and valid DL in all Schengen Visa cntries, most states in US and in Canada

Are you sure ?? I always thought that you need an International DL to drive outside India....maybe its time to get a DL from Bihar....hyeah: hyeah:

The sarcasm wasn't lost , but let me try being a gentleman for change...

Actually (and obviously) any DL frm India will do fine as long as it is printed in roman script

UK, france and Spain, a Bihar (or Delhi or TN ) DL (w-o an IDL) will get you a car rental

US, Alll states on the North Eastern Seaboard and most on the west coast will honor a Indian DL (in English, and including Bihari licenses ) for driving and for rentals

Am not sure abt the southern States though
