My bike insurance has expired and now I have to renew it. So, which is the best company to provide bike insurance in India. Im in HYD my bike P180UG3 It is 13-14 months old. I dunno much about insurance stuff! so help me out guys! what other things should i look at for? any help would be highly appreciated.

anyone will do..i prefer the nationalised ones over the private ones. New India Assurance is decent (IMO).

If u want to avoid hassle, find an insurance agent or simply goto the dealer where u got the bike, he ll have an agent handy ;)

I am having the same dilemma. I have to renew my car insurance next month and am wondering whether to go with Bajaj Allianz or New India assurance which I already have. Thing is, I'm wondering if these national insurance companies are as efficient in processing in case of an accident as private ones . I don't want the hassle of following up with these fellows and currently, they don't even send premium reminder notices.

For eg: Bajaj Allianz has a 24 hr helpline and my friend who already had and accident got his claims processed fast. But they did not cover plastic parts and the stupid agent said that they would cover either front or back side only in the accident. (My friend was hit in the back and this forced the car to hit another in the front). So, I'm wondering which is better.

IMO the private ones will always add hidden clauses and look for more reasons to deny ur claim ;) they have more of a reason to work to a profit ;) claims with the nationalised ones may take time but come thru at least :D

GO for nationalised..

And remember, nEVER tell wat actually happened in the accident, ask a insurance expert as to wat explanation will provide maximum cover...

Its the otherway around in insurance sector. Private sector is better than Public sector.
Public sector will delay to send a surveyor and he will demand money from you in case of an accident.
You can stick to bajaj allianz itself.
