Finally! A thread was due since long.

Did you play the game? Impressions? It appears the game is short since Dinesh completed it in a jiffy!

Since the game is awesome it was completed over weekend its around 9 hours

I wasn't impressed with it's first chapter, but I think it gets better, progressively. For instance, I'm done with the second chapter now and I think the boss fights are quite good, certain set-pieces & team-work elements are pretty good. However, the voice acting is a big hit or miss kind of thing. It's ridden with cheese and some are just plain retarded. Till now, I think it's a Gears of War clone with clunky controls and minor RPG addition and somewhat resembles Vanquish. However, it doesn't come remotely close to the awesomeness of either games.

Done with the game and I was pleasantly surprised with it. The last 3 chapters were really long, especially chapter 4, which was awesome. The voice acting and story improved down the line as well. I must have clocked close to 9 hours in the game. Worth a shot for sure.

Allwyn could you upload that image on the first post to an image host? It appears to be hot-linked!

Started the game yesterday, completed the first 3 chapters and almost the 4th. Chapter lengths seem to vary as well. Loved the squad based gameplay but I've seen better (Army of Two series for instance). The game reminds me of The Terminator series and draws resemblances from Gears of War (cover based attack for instance). Generic voice acting but character models and level designs are well done for a futuristic robot dominated setup. Enemy variety is limited to a certain few but boss fights are good.

The QTE events are a letdown and instead of a single button prompts, we have a slider based prompt and I always get it wrong in the first two attempts! The minigun has just 250 ammo (WTF?) and the gun just disappears when a cutscene happens and if Dan was carrying it before. Lame!

That's good news! I wish From Software is listening. The 'Dark Souls for PC' petition has crossed 90k+ signatures alright.

Completed the title couple of minutes back. Turned out to be much better than what I had expected coming from the 7'ish review scores. If only those voice command options could be turned off completely, it could have been better. Sometimes it ended up being irritating. Not to mention disabling sprinting during the dialogue exchanges. The story no doubt resembles The Terminator fiction with some added masala but despite all that, it sure was enjoyable. Especially the last 3 chapters which offers a whole lot of action packed gameplay. Killing hordes of robots, heavies and bosses with a good range of arsenal plus a good squad to back you up.

Now that the game has been announced as being ported to the PC, I suppose many more could enjoy it.

Released a day or two back on pc this game.

Why?

Boss fight gameplays are messy. I am stuck at a level and its really pissing me off.

I am stuck at the gorilla part 2. Its impossible to target exactly the forehead and the computer controlled ally is simply useless. Even stunning it affects only for very short duration.

What platform are you playing it on?

I recall that gorilla robot boss battle was a bit hard. And to top it all the AI partners are useless. Reviving during emergencies are mostly a case of hit and miss. Do repeat it a few more times.

I am not sure about this but does the game give you an option to lower the difficulty during the midst of a playthrough?
