Yeah thats all well and good AND it shows how dedicated VALVE is @ making thier games PERFECT and so dont come out with a BARRAGE of patches , fixes and UPDATES just after the release of the game coz they do all the testing prior to the LAUNCH, the way its supposed to be done. . BUT!!
Personally i don't see what the hype about BIOSHOCK is all about!!!
I mean sure its a bit off the charts and i can see how people enjoy poking themselves with needles to reload . . . but the guns as such were pretty ordinary and the storyline didn't leave a lot to PONDER as far as the demo goes i.e. . i mean to think the game has got a 99% rating just seems to much to digest...
Graphics were not all that grate as well. . off course i played it in DX9 but i liked LOST PLANET in that respect. . .it had like awesome reproduction in DX 9 and marginal difference @ DX 10. . off course a personal opinion ONLY

I just played demo and gfx and gameplay is one of the best I have seen this year and overall game felt great. better than most of the games released in last 2-3 years. For first time in many years i actually enjoyed playing some game.
If you say gfx are not good then you either messed up something in settings or maybe your system was not powerful enough to bring on all eye candy.

Its just about playable @ 1680 x 1050 all DX9 settings maxed on my rig with E6600 @ 3 GHz, 2GB RAM and 1900XT 512MB. So his opinion may have stemed from the fact that he played the game on an under powered rig at lower settings.
Though the demo was very very short, it did include some of the things that were possible. Both game play and graphics wise this game is absolutely stunning. If only 2k Games had not ruined the game for us with all those silly restrictions.

He's judging the game based on just the demo...
Gameplay wise, it's one the best game I've ever played. Simply oozing with atmosphere (has to be seen to be believed) and the sound effects are mindblowing.
PS - Valve does release patches, maybe more than any other developer out there. Ever heard of Steam?

Well i played the -->DEMO<-- at relatively high settings BUt @ a lower resolution and so yes i might not no what the GAME actually looks like boo hoo . . and as i SAID it is a personal opinion ONLY and no BIOSHOCK fan needs to get offended. .maybe i had expected much more becoz of all the HYPE. .and i have seen the HD gameplay videos so i no what the graphics are like

The developers themselves have said that they didn't have a SOLID plot before had they started the production of BIOSHOCK. . . so i think that was also what set me off coz there are just too many games that have been built on the theme of a "FACILITY WHERE SOMETHING GOES WRONG AND YOUR CAUGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF IT!!"
Well most of the patches released are of games that VALVE only markets and does not make and Rest of the UPDATES are for the PLATFORM not for any game as such!!

u can download bioshock from torrent or anything else
how u crack step one and two
install the game.....wait till securom gives u the error msg. ctrl+alt+del out of the installation and reboot ur PC. Then copy the 2 cracked files into ur installation directory (bioshock/builds/release).....add the .reg file into ur registry.....and voila...play BIOSHOCK
