Bioshock Demo issues

Well i just downloaded BIOSHOCK demo to check out what the hype was about but the game doesnt proceed beyond the first stage!!

It just crashes randomly every time after the first stage. . .

So ?

What settings are you running at? It ran very smoothly on my rig.

Its running smoothly on my end as well . . .

I cant say wat the FPS was but was pretty smooth ON full settings (Almost ) @ 800x600 resolution. . 7600gt +1 GB RAM . . .

My forceware drivers are : 97.20

Are there any latest drivers which are stable after 97.20 . .

Get 163.44 drivers, they are specially optimized for Bioshock.

frm where did u download the Demo and did it give u any issues while installing or anything?

also see if u can tweak the config files since its on UT engine the system directory for anything called as .cfg tweak some setings here and there and see wht happns

well. it crashed for me once. but i installed 163.44, den no pblm. i guess that mite help

Runs fine between 25+ fps in dx9 mode, High details 1280x1024 No FSAA... on a 8600GT (Stock)

It runs pretty nicely for me, but I have the stuttering sound issues, which people on the official forums seem to think have something to do with AMD 64 processors.
