If Someone Has a BIOS Issue He Can Also Use The Pen drive For Recovery ,They Also Have Excellent Overclocking And Overclocking utility built in .The 690G walla board has HDMI and is the best board in value for the HTPC case i lanuched in TE Today ,Hip Hip Hurray To Biostar and its designers .The TA790GX 128M Walla Board Also has 128 MB Ram Dedicated For Inbuilt Graphics What More Does anyone Want In This Price .Chakk De India .
 
Arre, I meant there are way too many BIOS mods available for the TP35, TP45, I45. And of course at this awesome price. these are very recommended to the budget overclocker :)

My next mobo is surely going to be a Biostar.

rofl. since I have not made the mods myself or tested them, I cannot guarantee how they will work.

Biostar TP35D2-A7 Motherboard BIOS's

besides the usual ISA ROM and LAN boot ROM injections, Biostar mobos have been very amenable to modding. For example the TP43D2-A7, an old and very cheap mobo has been extensively modded to provide some of the very finest settings. Read delay phase Trfc RAM timings 20T-80T)and Performance level Settings, a feature set only available in expensive premium mobos has been added through BIOS mods.

Besides, hidden settings like

CAS: 1T,2T,7T,8T,9T,10T

Trcd: 1T,2T

Trp:1T,2T

actual timings of Twr, Twtr, Trrd, Trtp

I owe all my BIOS knowledge to him. Frankly, i'll be buying whatever he recommends and he has praised TP35D2A7 and I45 very highly. (I didn't enquire about AMD but I can mod the stock 790/780G VGAs myself and they are quite good platforms)

The T-Power I45 is legendary. It has hit 700+ FSB several times. It is indeed a very good mobo. You can learn more about it here.

Most of the new Biostar mobos have plenty of settings to tweak and are not limited in anyway and so would be a delight to oc on.

Hey. The rebels haven (link posted above) is the best bios mod authority on the web. I learnt most of my stuff there. The motherboard reviews there also rock. there are also Xtremesystems.org, ocforums.com (india's ip range is blacklisted. i used to be a member there :( ) and ocinside.de. google "bios mods". You'll get a lot of interesting links . i have been through a lot of them. can't recall the obscure ones :P

Check out the openBIOS initiative and QEMU too. Not for us lesser mortals but an interesting read neverthelss.
 
Those are AWESOME prices! Availability on the 790GX without the 128 mb sideport? It's a waste of one grand to get the sideport when you're going to plug in a gfx card anyway...

So, what are the new rates. I am particularly interested in the I45. Could you also bundle a C2D E8400 and a CORSAIR DOMINATOR 2X2GB 1066MHz (PC28500)?
