BitComet,Bitspirit & Bitlord getting banned in many trackers.

Got this at the bitspirit homepage forums:-

Unfortunately due to certain users attempting to evade the BitComet 0.60 ban and issues with older version of BitComet and it's derivatives these clients will also be banned soon. Until the BitComet developer(s) fix the issue with the private flag we will not be removing the ban on these clients. Derivatives of BitComet include BitLord and BitSpirit. Again like with the original BitComet ban this is NOT up for debate and all questions regarding the decisions around this issue have been answered in the previous BitComet thread.

This ban will become effective at 18:00GMT December 17th, 2005.

how come?
for me bitspirit rocked..but now as it would get banned i really have to search for an alternative.

P.S :- I spent one whole day trying to configure utorrent but the thing is toooo slow man. for smaller torrents its fast like i get 10 KB/s speeds when i download stuff that are around 5-30 MB(well seeded or not)
however when i download big stuff around 600-700 mb then the thing crawls...even with 100 seeds.
i dont go over 3 KB/s
bitspirit was giving me arnd 8.5-9 on the same torrent. :ashamed:
 
Whatever happens, I am not shifting from BitComet/ It rocks!!!! I tried ABC, G3, BitTorrent itself.... but everything sucked. ABC and G3, I never got more than 12 on myt 256kbps.....

But with BC, I get 29 -30 at times. But avg is around 25-26!!! I am loving it!!!

Dont measure the speeds like that, Bitcomet downloads a lot of waste, and misreports speeds. Check how much you actually download in a day.
 
ya bit comet really sucked for me.. either it didnt give me any speeds . or it just downloaded a lot of waste!!!!

bit tornado is so much better for me. atleast i can do consistently 600 mb every 8 hours!!! :) (triband night plan)
