So there are many chat clients, why do we need new one now? And what BitTorrent is bringing new to table?
The typical chat clients are centralized and all data is saved on a central server. So, it makes easier for NSA to spy on. Bleep requires no centralized server. Think of it as how Peer to Peer to communications happen with torrents. And all you data is encrypted with pretty strong encryption algorithms.
Currently Bleep is available as Invite only Pre-alpha.
