Blackberry buying advice needed

Hi!
I've always wanted to own a Blackberry pearl mobile since i love the design and its candy bar form factor.
I came across this - eBay India: New Blackberry Pearl 8110 Mobile Phone "Now On COD" (item 220631766373 end time 02-Aug-2010 20:25:29 IST)

This phone is a bit dated and I prefer the 8110 over the 8120 which has wifi but is 1500rs costlier than the 8110.
A few questions-
(1) How reliable are Blackberry phones?
(2) How is the after sales service?
(3) The Ebay seller is offering 3 years warranty - Do Blackberry phones come with 3 years warranty?
(4) I know this Blackberry pearl is something I have always wanted to own but realistically speaking "Is it worth Rs.6500 with the features it offers"?

(1) BBs are very reliable. That's one of the major reasons behind their success, of course apart from being THE business phone.

(2) I heard that approaching BB for these outdated models is a bit troublesome in the sense replacements and repairs take time. I am of course going by the experience two folks had with the ASS. Others didn't have issues in the first place.

(3) The warranty mentioned here is dealer's warranty. So Standard Enterprises will be the one handling defective pieces.

(4) Not sure. :)

One thing i also want to know as my knowledge regarding bb is not that much. can one only buy bb from vodafone,airtel store to avail their business plans or one can buy from anyshop and then can apply for these business plans? thanks

The blackberry 8110 has been priced similarly on GEB(between Rs.6400-Rs.8500) but on GEB I run the risk of losing out on warranty and this Ebay seller seems to be offering 3 years of it. I really like the pearl 8110. the new pearl 9xxx is horribly expensive. The 8110 is a decent phone. Totally confused about what to do.
