Hi everyone,

I was installing this new motherboard Asus M4A785TD-M EVO, display was working fine, I was able to enter BIOS, but it was hanging when I tapped few keys on the motherboard.

Now after clearing the CMOS, I see nothing but blank screen. Motherboard is powering up, HDD & CPU fans are spinning, no beeping at all!!

However, with RAM removed I get 1 long beep, followed by 2 short beeps, suggesting RAM module is missing!! I'm using Crucial DDR3 1333 RAM, which is fully compatible with this motherboard, at least thats what they advertise.

BTW, I'm using onboard graphics card.

Please advice what can be done to fix this problem.

Thanks

Do you get any beeps with ram attached . 1 long and 2 short beeps are usually related to bad display adapter . Check if display is coming with a graphic card .

No, I do not get any beep with RAM plugged in.

Since, it is onboard display that I'm using there is no way I can test it!
