Apparently due to the bleed of players away from the game. But the hate against the game is exaggerated. WoW is still very much playable. Opinions of the so-called "hardcore gamers" be damned. It still has good content and good story even for newbie players who want to start the WoW journey. But i wish they do away with the monthly fees for good, the right time would be now. This way Blizzard will be able to control the subscribers base from further going down and players seeking greener pastures in other very popular online games like GW2, Dota2 etc.

The first, a Warcraft movie by Duncan Jones, comes out in the summer; the second, a sixth WOW
expansion - Legion - has only just
been revealed, presumably lining up for a late 2016 release (no date has so far been announced).
