Which according to you peeps is the biggest bloat of them all? I.e., has a lot of registry entries and files?
And could you also suggest any other alternatives to these softwares?
This might help others avoid it..

To me the worst of the lot is RealPlayer (alll the versions, gold, jukebox,etc...)
Alternative is to use JetAudio..

another headache is Norton Internet Security...
i'd use Norton AV and ZoneAlarm for a firewall....
(I know some wiseguy will say Windows is the biggest Bloatware of them all.... just you wait till Vista)

i have uninstalled(had to use 3rd party reg cleaner) my last instance of norton months ago .. and still i have 2 processes running :(

remember its a "beta" only and not optimized as expected frm a final build.

besides it uses only ~16MB on my system. make sure ur not using the leaked

version. its not only compromises ur security but the login patch actually

takes up too much of your system resources.

back to topic, yes its the Real Player.

Add to that the latest version of Nero...v7.
