Blocking mac id in windows

yes their are many softwares to block mac id, but you might know that mac ids can also be faked/masked by other computer. they either need to install some s/w OR changing the registry settings.. I did that in college :p when i was used to be banned for heavy downloading..
 
What are you trying to do ? Blocking mac IDs from connecting to your computer ? BLocking your own mac ID from going out ?

True.MAC Id's can be changed over a lan using a software tool called SMAC.

@OP - What are you trying to achieve?

If you want to do this for a wifi network, like I am, you can do MAC ID filtering on the router itself. MAC ID works at Layer 2 of OSI model, most of the software firewalls examine L2 but dont provide the user with the ability to work on it. They give user the flexibility from L3 upwards, where IP addresses step in.

BTW zone alarm pro can help you filter MAC IDs - Link for configuring it.
