Forum Feedback Blog Section on TE ?

I'm jobless and have almost stopped playing games too much.....more inclined to typing stuff........:S so was thinking of starting my own blog somewhere......but then i thought wth I don't want to go about doing it somewhere......so I had this weird idea / suggestion can we have a blog section here on TE ....OR can blogs be posted in TE's General Talk section OR its not allowed OR it already exists on FE ? anybody else would like to support this thought ? So to narrow it down.....can we have a blog section if no then can blogs/writeups/post be put up in General Talk ?
Now for all who think....common this is a tech site and tech posts only....the only thing made me think abt this is that off-topic threads do exists.
 
Well links to personal blogs are allowed in the sigs. So as long as your blog is personal blog I dont see what you cant post about it in General Talk. AFAIK there is no restriction on posting about personal blog. Just dont start creating multiple threads about it everywhere. Create a thread. Traffic in general Talk is good. So first get your blog up and running with some quality material and then post about it and/or have a link to it in your sig. If people like the content they will bookmark it for sure.

Hi Hanzy,
Thanks for your suggestions.
However, blogs on TE dont quite merge with the theme of the site. We are concentrating more on Technology, whereas most blogs deal with personal opinion. We had discussed this before and did reach to the conclusion that it will not workout too well.
You could however request the same at FE, the staff there could consider the matter.
We cant have only Tech stuff here, no one can read only tech all day long without entertainment, thus there is one off topic section (General Talk) present.
Hope you understand what I mean by the above post.
Let me know if you got more questions.
