blow my PSU or mobo pls!

hey my friend needs my PC, i offered it to him for free but it has to be non functional. or my dad will get me to charge him for it. I dont want to so I was wondering if there was anyway i could rig the PSU to blow the mobo or do some un repairable damage in the PC without affecting proccy, n specially the HD

pls help me blow this b!t*h up ppl
 
Reason with pa, what else. Or remove the on/off cord from the motherboard -- and say "it ain't working". No point inflicting self damage.
 
^^ +1, just remove either mobo and CPU connector.

OR

remove CPU and give it to your friend, after that anyways whole machine will be useless. :). Once your father agrees give it to your friend as well.

blasting something is not at all a good idea.
 
Its pretty funny/sad to see such people giving such advices. I and many peopl would probably say "Be a man and tell your dad!!!" but yeah we do have some characters who are experts in destroying boards, especially in the name of "overclocking".

remove the BIOS battery & place a small piece of paper below the battery to keep it from making a contact & conduct power.
 
LoL, if you play prank your dad would first take it to a repair center, come home and then repair you.

Talk to your dad, he'd be happy that you're helping your friend.
 
if u want a foolproof but repairable method try this :
Take out the psu and open it.
Desolder the main wire which feeds the psu circuit with power from the mains ( or disconnect the power switch wires) and then reassemble the psu and put it back into the cabby.
In this way even if ur dad takes it to a service center those blokes will say that psu has conked off.
Later on give it to ur frnd and then reconnect the wires.
Easy n simple aint it??????? ;)
 
he wants irreparable damage done to mobo and psu only.

i have a noble solutions.

put those on TE market for swapping with already blown away replacements.

maybe someone normal in need will benefit afterall.. :|
