The bluetooth bulb lets users pair their devices with the bulb and then change the color , brightness , timing of the bulb from the paired phones . It uses LEDs , so it consumes less power and lasts longer . The bulb is reported to have every single part replaceable , so you dont have to throw it in case it stops working .

The Bluetooth bulb is just a patented prototype right now so even if u like it , you will have to stick to old bulbs for the time being .
