I want to get a bluetooth headset for my Samsung Champ C3300.
Budget: ~1k-1.3k

I searched around a bit and found the Samsung WEP470 to have decent reviews. Since its a samsung i am guessing that there would be no compability issues.

OEM Samsung WEP470 WEP-470 Wireless Bluetooth headset (Rs. 1294)
NEW Samsung WEP470 WEP-470 iPhone Bluetooth Headset (Rs. 1509)

Local prices are high but found two global ebay listings with clear specs and accessories mentioned. Not sure whether to go for OEM one. I have a 10% GEB coupon too.

Second option is the WEP475. Seems to be WEP470 successor as the 470 has been discontinued.

NEW SAMSUNG WEP475 WIRELESS BLUETOOTH HEADPHONES WEP475 (Rs. 1306)

This is cheaper than the WEP470!! The above is the cheapest deal for box pack with accessories clearly listed. But not much reviews around.

Please advice on which on to go for. First hand user experience would be great. This is my first bluetooth headset purchase, so i dont have much idea on their lifetime etc...

I want it to last at least 1.5-2 years. Daily usage would be ~20-30 minutes. Mostly lower. Clear sound in a 10 feet range would do fine. Most calls made in less noisier environements.

Or are there better options locally? Do these fail in short period that a local warranty becomes so important? How often do we have to charge these usually?

Guess the Samsung bluetooth doesnt have micro-USB charging from PC.

Another option is the Jabra BT-2035. Its compatible with my phone and can be got for 0.9k locally. How good is it considering my usage?
Jabra BT2035 Bluetooth Headset Sealed Pack

Please advice guys and TIA :) Sorry for too many question and a long post :P

+1 for the Jabra BT2035. Pairs easily without issues. Colleague who drives a car from the home to the workplace uses one and is pretty much satisfied with the device. He reconfirms that he does the charging once in every 4~5 days' time.

Cool :) Will try to get from TE since there were some gifts from ebay and ppl might try to offload the same for cheaper.
Waiting for more hands on exp. and comfort level of the headset.

Using the Jabra BT2035, is good. I use it like 1.5 hours a day (with 45 minutes of talk) and charge once in 3 days. Simple and easy to use. Does not have volume controls, but responds to the mobile device volume controls. Re-pairing is slightly 'different'. Need to press the button for around 8 seconds. Comfort level is decent. Hooks behind the ear fine and does not fall off. The receptacle fits soft inside the ear. Have used it on distances of 15 feet and was fine.

On BB Curve 3G.

Hooks can be used for both ears? (Or at least left?) :ashamed:
Also how secure is the fit without hook?

^^

Hook can be used on left or right. The hook can be removed, flipped and plugged back. Not secure without the hook grip.
