hi!
i was wondering if there is any application which would allow me to use my sony ericsson c - 510 , as a remote control to control windows media center or any other application?
 
Yup. There are some indeed. My friend did the same ( I think with the same phone too ). I can let you know by tomorrow. :)

EDIT : Just called him now. His phone is k530 although he flashed with w660 firmware which has the same HW. And in the w660 tools, there was an inbuilt BT Remote Control app. He also said he could find similar app for SE phones in mobango.com :)
 
i can transfer data to my phone from my laptop and vice a versa and also use it as a bluetooth modem but i can't use the remote control app in my phone is there any other alternative?
 
i got sony ericsson bluetooth remote v-4.01 i transfered the various .hid files from the phone to the pc and loaded the files using the sony bluetooth app in the laptop.

however i cant seem to use it. can someone guide me?
