Bluetooth usb dongle to stream audio from computer, cant detect why?

I bought a bluetooth dongle for my desktop so I can listen to stereo music, FM radio & do skype chat with my Trubeats Air BT Wireless Headphone http://www.amkette.com/product.jsp?id=148

The dongle I bought is this one (Chinese brand)
http://www.gadgetlite.com/wp-content/uploads/2009/11/bluetooth-dongle-usb-free-giveaway-01.JPG

I connected installed the drivers & now it shows setting, I detected it using computer to initiate the connection the headset shows in the list but when I want to connect with it, it refuses giving errors "the device you selected does not have serial port service running" What is the issue & how can I solve it?

There are other bluetooth dongles too but I dint find the difference in features so I bought the cheaper one, I can buy this one too from asus provided they work with windows7 x64bit
http://www.asus.com/Networking/USBBT211_Mini_Bluetooth_Dongle/

I followed this video to install & connect but that does not have any problem in connection where as my windows 7 x64 give connection error could it be x64 issue?

UPDATE
I found this link to set up step by step
http://www.wikihow.com/Connect-an-A2DP-Bluetooth-Headset-to-PC-Using-a-Bluetooth-Adapter

It mention
Set the headset for stereo audio. Open up Bluetooth devices by right clicking the system tray icon. Right click your headset and select properties. Navigate over to the services tab and allow it to load the services. We need to make sure "Audio Sink" and "Headset" are both checked. You may also un-check "Hands-free Telephony". I found my headset switched to mono sound when using skype calling. Disable it to avoid This from happening. Click Apply/OK and allow the computer to install more drivers (This may not be necessary if audio sink and headset were both checked)

So I manually selected in the services tab "Audio Sink" and "Headset" once I selected it again tried installing some drivers but the hardware shows amkette Trubeats BT mono audio driver yellow sign & windows cant update this driver by running the update service.
Seems that I have to call the amkette support in getting this installed correctly.

UPDATE
Spoke to the support staff they confirmed that is an issue but this issue is that I do not have the hardware drivers, they recommended me the asus Bluetooth dongle which will have its own x64 driver for installation.
http://www.asus.com/Networking/USBBT211_Mini_Bluetooth_Dongle/#support_Download_30
On this link it shows that it does havewin7 x54 drivers but found another link where users say the driver is still creating a problem on win7 x64 specifically.

Already done that but this doesn't work those Enter drivers are from BlueSoleil which now ask me to purchase $20 app fee to use these drivers, I assume once I buy the enter BT dongle it might work normally, Else will have to try the asus BT dongle costing 600/-[DOUBLEPOST=1375438182][/DOUBLEPOST]Downloaded these driver but they dont have installer so do I uninstall the Bt hardware & redetect then BT dongle & manually update to these drivers?

I found another helpful link though I need to try that method in post 9 in this link

When installing BT this is the issue I am facing

Finally got a new dongle replaced from the ENTER multimedia company & they were kind enough to demo it on a windows 7 x64 bit paired it successfully on their system with my headset, listened to the music & did skype chat too. I came home & installed the BlueSoleil driver successfully paired on my system too but after 2 mins it disconnected popping up a window to buy the software or activate the product using a serial number now the serial which is mentioned on the box is not working may be bcoz the dongle was 1st installed on a demo machine, will get the support online to work out a solution if possible or else will have to buy a new one from them. In the demo mode it allows 2 mb of data streaming then stops popping teh message to buy or enter a serial no.

I assumed that the serial must be MU-USBBLU-001 as mentioned above the bar code but seems that is not the case & its not taking that serial no. The software take me to this page giving explanation.

One thing I noticed is that with computer sound card the volume is quite loud & the sound specifically the Bass is quite good & now I can roam within the house with streaming music & skype chat.

At Rs 150/- its an amazing product I hope it finally works with correct serial number, its actually a locked dongle which does not need extra driver (OS detects it) but for pairing headset to stream music you indeed need their drivers else it wont work.

I called up Enter multimedia support spoke to Mr. Shaym in support he says he will talk to China office & get back to me by Monday, till then I will have to wait but reading the internet I found that these Chinese BT dongles are known for missing serials & people dont even know that these are locked devices.

Which list to FAQ
http://www.bluesoleil.com/support/FAQ.aspx
4. Q : Why does BlueSoleil display "This copy of BlueSoleil is not licensed and is not eligible to receive the full range of product support; BlueSoleil is running in evaluation mode now and data limitation" after I upgrade to version 10? A :
BlueSoleil version 10 needs serial number to activate and it is not free.

  1. Minor versions (1.1, 1.2 etc.) are free to registered customers because they contain only small functional improvements and defect fixes>>
  2. Major versions (7.0, 8.0 etc.) are chargeable because they represent significant upgrades in functionality that require investment of time, money and resources to design, develop, test, document and publish the new features. We will ensure that customers get value for money and a well-rounded new product for each major version.
6. Q : Why does IVT support refuse to provide the warranty for 'its dongle'?
A :
It's a prevalent confusion for users. IVT Corporation is only the Software Product BlueSoleil provider, Not the Hardware Dongle maker, we supply BlueSoleil basic versions such as BlueSoleil 2.x to Bluetooth chip makers worldwide. Then chip makers bundle their Bluetooth chips with BlueSoleil to USB dongle makers. USB dongle makers supply Bluetooth USB dongles to worldwide market. We do have an ecommerce site on www.BlueSoleil.com to sell dongles with brand name "BlueSoleil" and these dongles are well checked and licensed one by one.

All this while waiting to hear from the company I bought Asus BT211 & installed the software which takes a well over 20 mins to install various drivers but is working perfectly both with music streaming & skype chatting I can now roam in the house or sit outside in the garden & continue both music & skype chat.

great to read your saga, now the link to the asus BT211 and cost please?
:D
would go for the asus directly, since your saga is an eye opener for a lot of folks.

Yes if you want steaming music & seamless skype chating then I suggest asus only, even though the BlueSoleil driver had visibly more services & features than asus but since I don't have other BT devices not sure how many kind of devices can work with asus (I guess most should work)
http://www.asus.com/Networking/USBBT211_Mini_Bluetooth_Dongle/

I bought it from SMC international for Rs 650/- its also available on ebay.in & homeshopping network.
