Booting + BIOS issue

Hello folks,

I am facing an unusual problem from today morning. My PC is not booting up.

After the power is on(ed), comp starts, and seems like all stuff is getting power as fans starts, Mobo LED gets on etc.

Firstly the Asus logo is displayed and then American Megatrends logo is displayed with the BIOS message (whatever it is called) and down it shows the error, the line as Please enter setup to recover BIOS settings

Here is the snapshot of stuff displayed on monitor.



If F2 is pressed, it shows this message and nothing happens then (check next snapshot)



If F1 is pressed it takes to BIOS setup Utility.
Here when gone to Boot device priority. it shows the Floppy Drive as first boot drive.
On changing it to HDD or DVD and then saving setting, comp restarts.
But again after restarting it shows same issue as above and again on going to Boot option in BIOS setup it again shows the Floppy Drive as 1st boot device. (means settings actually dont get saved)

Could anyone please indiacte what the issue is all about. :(
Till last night comp was working fine with no markable issue and no change in any BIOS setting was done.
Also, around 5 days ago PSU was changed to Corsair CX400W however, after change also everthing was fine till date.
PS : Mobo is Asus M3N78-EM, CPU - AMD phenom 9650

Hmmm, first try changing the CMOS Battery.. Looks like it has gone kaput, and probably that is the reason the BIOS settings keep resetting itself.. If that doesn't work try reflashinhg the BIOS (you can get the latest firmware from Asus's website) with the new battery plugged in..

Let know if this works...
 
If any external usb hdd is attached try removing it and boot, also press f12 to get aboot menu and see when u select hdd, it boots to the desired os safely, this will confirm issues with bios, hence follow above suggestions.
