Wish this : https://www.techenclave.com/communi...than-4gb-memory-with-a-32-bit-windows.155954/ worked without problems ( Intel drivers ! ).

^Very neat! :)

BTW, cross quoting you from that old thread -

"Everything works OK - the only problem is the Intel HD Graphics drivers ! Without that it's not really useable. Don't want to use a Gcard. Wish Intel would make display drivers compatible with the above ( AMD & nVidia drivers work OK it seems )."

If Intel HD Graphics Drivers have issues, why don't you just use a Nvidia/AMD GPU? Is it because you don't want to buy a new one or some other reason? Curious to know. :)

You also said -
"Having 8GB memory did not help with a 32 bit Windows - I had to use 64 bit Win."

Not sure but I think the app I use on Win XP supports up to 8Gb RAM. Can't test as I only have 4Gb. Next time I connect my XP drive I will double check if anything is mentioned in the help file for the app. One thing I do know though is that boot/image load/save/shutdown is NOT supported in the FREE version. For that you have to buy Pro, Ultimate or Server Editions of the app.

Here's another comparison with this (admittedly synthetic) benchmark -

I used a Radeon HD 4350, worked OK but found there are other problems - Intel drivers are needed for USB ( 2 & 3 ) - they don't 'agree' with PAE.

I abandoned PAE, these days work with just 4GB.

When I need a 'full' Windows I use one with Shadow Defender installed - allocated 1GB memory to SD as cache. Works well plus drive C is protected.

PoBoy take a look at the links below, they are for the app I have been using for years now on XP. See if it meets your requirements.

Note that as stated above, OS Save/Load, Paging File support etc. are NOT part of the version that I use. For those features you have to get the paid version -

I don't recall ever having any issues with USB 2 devices and I am on a Intel mobo chipset myself (Abit IP-35 Pro). I have only 4Gb or RAM so I can't comment on whether there are issues with systems with more than 4Gb RAM or whether the version I use even supports more than 4Gb of RAM.
However Pro, Ultimate & Server editions of the app should meet all your requirements and I am 99% sure you won't have any issues with Intel drivers.

In any case, you can always download Pro/Ultimate/Server edition(s) and try them FREE for 30 days. What have you got to lose? If it doesn't do what you want simply uninstall it...
