Ok.... just to toot my horn a little... the new DIVX firmware upgrade is f*%#@g awesome. I also own a Samsung dvd player that plays DIVX... but it's shaky at best and it's a crap shoot to see if my DIVX stuff will play. The PS3 has played every file I have thrown at it from my collection... and yes even an over 4gb file. I can even play a Dexter HD DIVX file over my wireless G DNLA server and it plays just fine and quality is awesome......

This is the most coolest thing ever, PS3 YOU ROCK MY WORLD... and games too..... WOW
 
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm....something that will keep me from selling the PS3 away. The news was before that it wouldnt play files that are over 2gb, but now that u are saying u played a 4gb file is something worth. The baby monster is finally growing.
 
Excellent!! I am glad to see they don't have that same retarded "Divx = promoting piracy" mentality as Apple.
