Hi guys,
First post here so if i do something wrong, please forgive.
I hope i'm posting this in the right place as i had a small question regarding these new speakers i brought- companion 5.

The question is, after i connected these speakers, i noticed that whenever i play a mp3 track the sound quality goes down by quite a bit and i can notice the distortion which makes it very irritating to play music. Note that uncompressed tracks are amazingly awesome to play, its just the mp3's that give me this problem, is there any way to sort of improve that experience, i tweaked the equalizer settings in winamp to no avail.
I did read somewhere that changing the sampling rate might get you good results but haven't tried that out yet.
Any suggestions are appreciated.

Hi BF1983,

I dint notice the bitrate of the mp3 files, but "all" the mp3 files that i played gave me this impression.

I'll certainly try out what you're saying once i get home, thanks for the input.
