Bought a new refrigerator, but a few doubts.

Recently I bought a LG GL-D302JNSZ 285L refrigerator but I think it's a bit slow in cooling. The ice forms nearly after 3 hours!! Is this normal??

How much time does your refrigerator takes to make ice?

And how to check my whether my new refrigerator is cooling efficiently?

Any help would be greatly appreciated.
 
Dont worry. Its new so probably takes a little while for the mechanism to settle down .

My Electrolux too takes 3 hours or something to completely freeze the freezer and to make ice.

So its like if I plan to bring lot of ice-creams I first have to set the temperature to minimum and after 2 hours or so I get my ice-creams to put into the freezer.

Else usually my fridge is set on mid temps as nobody drinks cold water or uses ice unless required.
 
My lg fridge makes ice in around 2hrs on lowest setting of 1. Ice cream melts at this setting. Minimum setting for keeping ice cream frozen is 2 for my fridge.
