I just picked up a brand new 6800GT AGP from this dealer named Puneet Pall Singh in Chennai. (I saw his ad on ebay and contacted him for the purchase.) I think he has one piece left. He charged me Rs 8,500/- + 200/- shipping.
I transferred the amount online via ICICI funds transfer. I mailed him my address(although he prefers SMS but I don't even have a mobile these days). I received the package in 3 days via DTDC courier. It was a pleasant experience and I thought I should recommend him to TE users as I know many are also desperate for 6800 AGP cards and are having to settle with not so good (and now 2nd hand) 6600 GTs.
Maybe, if many guys contact him, he can get the cards in bulk from the US. I know he gets them periodcally from the US as I saw him post the same 6800 GT AGP sale two months apart but I contacted him a little late the first time and he did not have them in stock. I am lucky the 2nd time round. His phone no. is 98946 48000.
I think the cards are spare ones that BFG has for replacements. I'm only guessing but I can't understand how he manages to get them brand new. they are definitely brand new as I have examined mine and I have an old BFG 6800GT(which I will now keep for backup
or give to my cousin.)
Hope this helps you guys. Rep me if you think this is useful information.
