WD told me they would replace in 2 days after they receive the disk
so 2+2+2 = total turnaround time would be minimum 6 days (2 days for pickup from my place to theirs + 2 days replacement time + 2 days shipping it back to me) from Delhi to Chennai

Drive should have reached them monday/yesterday, i am hoping to get it on Saturday

Did you ultimately get the replacement within 2 working days as promised by WD?

@sato: Your practical/theoretical/ideal/preferred steps seems really stupid at times. Get over it already! If you haven't or aren't sure of a suggestion, refrain from posting it instead of confusing the OP himself and the rest of the members.
