Brand new HTC Legend on Sale - 20K

Brand new, but used HTC Legend on sale.

Purchased device on 7-1-2011 for project work, only to realise it doesn't officially support what I am working on. So need to upgrade to HTC Desire HD. Selling the phone to cut losses.

This comes with an AMOLED screen.

Very sparingly used - only for upgrading OS to Froyo, and for testing my project's application.

Accessories in the box: 2 GB microSD card, USB cable, earphones, ear buds, charger
Scratch guard applied at the time of purchase
Warranty: 1 year HTC warranty
Original Bill for Rs. 25357 (breakup: 23K + 5% VAT + 5% AMEX charges = 25357)
Product Location: Noida.
Preferred sale in Delhi - NCR.
Open to shipping to other locations @ shipping costs at actuals.
Sale price: [strike]21000[/strike] [strike]20000[/strike] 19500 (negotiable to reasonable value)

Weekend bump! Price dropped to 20K.

I repeat, phone in immaculate condition. No calls made yet (and that's because no SIM was ever inserted).

A desire is available for not much more. If you really want to sell the phone lower your price to a realistic one

^ Agree with your point, but then the market prices of the Desire and the Legend differ by a mere 500 bucks. In some (ironical) cases, the Legend costs more than the Desire. Perhaps it has got to do with the AMOLED on the Legend vs the SLCD on the new Desires.

Price has been fixed keeping in mind that a similar condition phone in the outside market would cost more than what I have mentioned.

If you are interested, please take the PM route.

To be honest AMOLED is just 'better' than SLCD. Sorry for crapping.

Can you comment on it's battery life ? and is official 2.3 update will be available ? [a friend is interested]

^ Since I have not used the phone for making calls, I will not be able to throw light on the 'real world' battery life, but during my usage [browsing, FM and flash apps], I charged the phone only three times - once on purchase, and two times in the subsequent 5 days. On an average it gave around 2 - 2.5 days. I agree on the AMOLED vs SLCD thing, but I was talking in terms of the pricing. The AMOLED does increase the costs.

I will need to check on the official update. Not sure if HTC has released it, but can confirm. At the moment it carries the official 2.2 OTA upgrade.

EDIT: Looks like the official HTC upgrade is not out. Even the Nexus One seems to be awaiting an official upgrade at this point of time. There are only unofficial upgrades available ATM
