Hello guys,

I am quite new here. Havent logged in since months, But I am an established Head-Fi'er by the same name, and have these for sale on my ebay account too. My listing is genuine and safe.

I had recently imported HD600's for my own use, But decided instead of keeping them, to sell these and buy an HifiMan HE-500 instead. HD600's are so beautiful that I have purchased them 2 times for my personal use. This is the third time I have again bought them up, I want to try out what the HE-500's have got in them, since HE-500's are supposed to be an upgrade over HD600's.

These are brand new, genuine and bearing serial number 157XXX and are of latest stock. They also have 2 years international warranty, but cannot be availed in India, since HD600 is not sold in India. I have imported these just yesterday, 5 June. with Customs duties have been fully paid up.

I am asking a price of INR 28,000/- which is a very competitive and reasonable price. Free shipping to All-India by Speed Post. Buyers from South India are preferred.

If you have any questions, please do ask.

Edit : I have updated Pictures with my handwritten note with name and date, as per forum rules.

Thank you :)

Updated the post with note containing handwritten name and date.

Be careful while making strong comments like "Fake" or "carded stuff" . You couldve just told me to include an note with the picture.

Hi,

The HD600's are not discontinued, they are in production. But are not sold in India. That is why Warranty is also International.

and for the price, these cost 399$ [about 25,000 Rs] + import duties to reach India. I think my price is very modest.

Also, HD600 on sale in India is a rare chance.

Still, for a product carrying no indian warranty, 28k is too high. hd650 prices start from 26k with 2 yrs. sennizer india warranty. It has better cables, similar sound signature with slight bass emphasis. hd600 costs approx. $370 in US (check amazon.com) with free shipping. Price is not very modest and realistic in the absence of local warranty.

Okay,

Sonically, HD600 is better [natural, neutral, lesser veil, lesser clamp, less artificial, less bass bloat] than HD 650, and this is accepted and agreed universally in Head-Fi. I can vouch for this because I have owned HD650 before and have owned HD600 for 2 times. HD600 is one of the best phones manufactured whose value, reliability, comfort, sound, scaling capacity is hard to beat, unless you invest 1000$+ on audio gear.

Try buying HD600 on amazon , They dont ship any Sennheiser product to India. Infact, NONE of the sellers ships HD600 to India, Even If you want to pay import duties and additional shipping fees.

If an person genuinely wants an HD600 itself, then he will know that, this price is the best bargain, and an rare chance to buy them in India.

If you are truely Interested to buy, let me know.

Thanks.

Since you stated hd600 costs $400 in U.S., I sought to clarify that they are available at $370 in amazon.com. Contrary to what you said, some amazon sellers like Focus Camera etc. still offer international shipping rates to Indian customers. You can get these facts verified. Plenty of hd600s available in U.S./Europe and you can get them at competitive rates by different modes/methods.

Each product has its own signature / sonic quality and both hd600s & 650s are superior in their own respect and neither of them inferior to other. Also, individuals have their own taste/preferences and may find certain phones appeal more than others. Though I treat both these phones high for their unique character, sonic quality, I beg to differ on hd600s cable quality/warranty problem in India.

Definitely not at the quoted price which is quite unrealistic and uneconomical at current market rates. Thanks.

No seller is allowed to ship Sennheiser product to India via Amazon.com.

But Lets assume Focus camera seller ships to India. I think Focus camera sells nearly at MSRP price of 399$ + shipping fees to India 50$. The moment HD600 comes to India, 25% customs duty is charged.

so that makes about 25,000 INR + 3000 INR Shipping + 5000 INR Customs duties and taxes = bit more than 33,000 INR

Either ways, my price point remains the best bargain and is even 5,000 INR lesser than what you get for.

Both HD600s & 650s cables are superior in their own respect and neither of them inferior to other.

Warranty is International, and is unavailable in India in case of HD600. That is unavoidable.

Sorry. My post was incomplete.

When I am getting hd650 in India for 26k which covers 2 yrs Sennheiser India warranty, why should I go for an imported hd600 for a higher price with an addl. risk of w/o warranty coverage. You might have paid addl. price for a product which is unavailable in India, but why it should be passed on to the buyer who will suffer the most in the absence of local warranty/maintenance, if any electronic malfunctioning/defect happens, post purchase? It is not worth taking the risk of buying an electronic item w/o any manufacturer's warranty, that too at a much higher price, regardless of its demand factor.

Thanks.

If that was true, there would be no grey market for TVs or mobile phones.
If you can find the same product for cheaper price in India, then you can definitely post it's link over here. Otherwise please stop crapping the thread. Even I bought the HD650 for 23k in the Flipkart sale. However he isn't selling HD 650 and you should know that all headphones sound different.
If no one buys his product because of higher price, how does it affect you. Please read the rules before posting. I still haven't seen you posting a link of the same product available in India (with or without warranty) for a price lesser than his.
Please stop bullying the seller. It is his product and he has the right to post it at whatever price he wants.

I appreciate your candid and honest thoughts. I have not really meant anything to bully the seller. hd600s are discontinued in India and subsequent editions like hd650s are available at lesser price here with full 2 yrs. warranty which can highly benefit users. HD600s and 650s carry more or less same signature. Hence, I opined that the hd600 quoted by seller was high. Other readers can also be made aware, if prices are not rational. I also clarified that hd600 costs $370 whereas seller quoted $400 which was an important point to note. Also, I brought to notice that hd600s are also sold online by international sellers to India. It is always healthier to share honest thoughts to obtain clarity so that right infn. reaches the readers.

Seller has full right to quote whatever he wants and as a buyer I expressed my opinion. If it really meant bullying the seller or offended you in any way, I sincerely regret for the same. Regards,
