bravia or viera

i am planning to buy a tv preferable 40"
i have narrowed it down to the viera plasma and bravia LCD (W series i guess)
i know that the bravia is 20k costlier bt plasma is HD ready n bravia is full HD
is bravia worth the price difference??

is there any other brand u can suggest??

I'd suggest going for the Samsung Series 5.

viera all the way. its always been better in colors than all the other tv;s. most lifelike colors.

You believe perfect.

It is Panasonic Viera 50-PV80D. Its a 50" model. 1366x768. And surprisingly though not advertized as a 100z model it is 100Hz.

@TH: Very sure saw it in teh OSD menu, confirmed by setting my 7600gs to output at 100 hz 1360x768.
