Broadband connection for gaming...

I recently shifted my house to a new area and lost my beloved Airtel 1mbps conn...

Now Airtel doesn't have feasibility in my area..

My primary use of broadband is gaming and heavy downloading. So will go for only UL plans

Teh available options are

1. Tataindicom (it should be available as they capitalize in areas where airtel isnt available by laying cables over tv cables using current poles)

2. BSNL(takes too long to come)

3. Reliance WIMAX (readily available. Are pings so bad in this for gaming?)

4. Reliance DSL broadband

I dont want to even consider sify and stuff

btw my area is bangalore (CV raman nagar, SG Palya to be exact for B'lore peeps)

Please suggest me one that is best for gaming and I will take UL plan in that

u can try railwire, just check whether it's available in your area

cv raman & Sg palya are in 2 different parts of the city..:|

& i think tata indicom would be the next to airtel wrt to latency....& again the service depends on the area, so do check with the people in your area before getting it .
