I used to have an MTNL Triband night unlimited plan till last year. It cost me Rs590 + 50 bucks CPE rental. I switched to the "600mb for Rs199" plan for my folks (who use the net just to check emails) when i moved out of Delhi.

Now, I'm back and I need to upgrade.

MTNL seems to have jacked up the rate for my previous plan to Rs750. Also, 50 bucks a month for PCE looks way too much now.

I heard airtel and bsnl are pretty good, too

Please suggest some options for me. Budget's ~800 a month

Any help will be greatly appreciated
 
799 plan has been changed according to their call centre. All those who have been using it before the change in plans still have the same rates i.e., 799 + Taxes = 881 (approx).

The current rates are 899 plus taxes. The difference is in the new plan you get 100 Rs. of talktime free (Free nothing you are being charged already whether you talk or not). In the older plan there was no free talk time.

I came to know about this when I enquired (2 months back) to switch plans temporarily. After coming to know that the rates would change for me I decided not to.

Then again rates are different at different places and this is the situation in Mumbai not sure if it is the same in Delhi.
